Professional Lacrosse Player, Premier Lacrosse League MVP (2019)

In the summer of 2019, I reached out to professional lacrosse player (and league leader in points) Matt Rambo with the goal of designing a pair of custom cleats for him to wear in the Premier Lacrosse League's inaugural all-star game. In a market where plain, monochromatic cleats were the norm, the cleats I hand-painted achieved the goal of bringing Rambo's personal flare to the field.

Shoe:

adidas adizero 5-Star 7.0 Football Cleat

Technique:

Airbrushing (compressed air); Angelus acrylic paint

Other Skills:

Vinyl stencil design (Adobe Illustrator); worked within league sponsorship rules and brand guidelines to avoid copyright infringement.

Result:

Exposure of my artwork to 128,000 live viewers on NBCSN and 8,189 live fans
